Commission approves several certificates of compliance, denies long-pending requests requiring refiling

On Aug. 3 the Fall River Conservation Commission issued or refused several certificate-of-compliance requests. After reviewing as-built photos and inspection evidence, the commission voted to issue a certificate of compliance for the G3G Realty Partnership project at 372 Stevens Street, with staff saying the applicant produced substantial documentation to support compliance.
Conversely, two long-pending certificate requests were denied and applicants were instructed to refile with the required documentation. Commissioners said applicants had not produced revised plans or the original plan of record needed for comparison. One item (James Valencourt at 4041 North Main Street) was left on the agenda but tabled until the DEP file review can locate an original plan of record. Commissioners repeatedly emphasized that the commission cannot issue compliance certificates without the plan-of-record documentation required for comparison.
