Reid O'Brien told commissioners the amendments expand JET eligibility to include the Texas Juvenile Justice Department, juvenile boards and probation departments, and add a reference to the JET advisory council abolishment date. Staff reported the rule was published for comment on April 14, received no comments, and recommended adoption.
Commissioner Trevino moved to adopt the amendments as recommended by staff; the motion was seconded and Chair Esparza recorded the affirmative vote. The commission adopted the amendments to chapter 804.
