G. Harrington called the Town of Winter Harbor Selectmen meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the board moved quickly through routine business, approving the July 28, 2025 minutes and Warrants #6 (Aug. 5) and #7 (Aug. 7).
The board approved the Treasurer’s Report dated Aug. 7, 2025 (vote recorded as Approved 3-0). The report listed a Trio general ledger balance of $613,251.14 and a six-month certificate of deposit at $105,382.87; investment accounts were shown at market values of $3,499,504.31 and $3,522,980.90 for the two comparison dates presented. The Tax Collector’s Report (Aug. 7, 2025) was also approved (3-0), showing FY25 taxes receivable at $30,730.02 with 98.75% collected and FY24 at $5,610.55 with 99.74% collected.
The approvals were recorded without individual roll-call votes in the minutes. No motions’ movers or seconders were listed in the record. Town Manager Sara J. Liscomb was the presenter of the financial figures during the reports and will retain documentation for public inspection at the town office.
