"That is the, lawsuit involving the property assessor's office," Christiansen said, adding that the parties "have been engaging in discovery" and are exchanging written questions and taking depositions; he also noted the state comptroller’s involvement. No further action was taken during the steering-committee meeting; the update was informational and continued to be handled through counsel and the courts.
Chairman Harris and commissioners were given the litigation materials on their iPads and had an opportunity to ask brief questions; Christiansen said the matter was not resolved and continues to move through discovery.
