Commissioner Tim Alexander moved to approve the raise, saying the increase would be covered by the SB22 grant while still permitting the sheriff to purchase two new vehicles. Commissioner Nicholas Thomas seconded the motion, which carried without opposition. The court did not set individual new salary amounts in the minutes; implementation details and timing will be handled through the sheriff's office and county payroll as budget updates proceed.
