One commissioner questioned spending $16,000 to connect two homes; staff replied the project is a necessary corrective to legacy infrastructure and that impact fees and the broader public benefit justify the work. The commission moved and approved the task order by voice vote.
Staff will coordinate with the selected continuing engineering contract (Panhandle Engineering referenced) on task order work and will return with funding confirmations.
