Planning staff presented a preliminary plat application for the second addition to Eagle View Estates, a proposal consisting of 11 lots across three parcels in Deerwood Township. Staff reviewed riparian and non-riparian lot-area and lot-width requirements and stated that all lots in the proposal meet the county’s riparian and non-riparian standards and the rural-residential minimums.
Staff also reported receiving comments from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources recommending conditions, including a natural-heritage information system review to check for rare plants, animals and other protected features. The commission heard the technical presentation and will record the DNR recommendations in the file for any future action on final plat approval.
