Board approves window replacements and short-term rental conversion at 215 West Main

"Basically, the south 0.5 or back 0.5 of the building is going to be a, short term rental, as part of her, bigger plan for opening the bakery in front," Martin said when explaining the proposal to replace a modern garage door with two double-hung windows repurposed from the east elevation.
Board members praised the rehabilitation work and supported the proposal, noting the plan preserves parking while improving the building’s rear appearance. The board moved to approve the application and the motion carried by voice vote; staff will proceed with permit review consistent with the board’s conditions and the applicant’s stated commitment to match materials and stone sills.
