Miss Haggerty presented year-to-date financials through June, reporting the general fund is approximately $2,700,000 under budget, which she characterized as about 2.6% below projections. She also said the capital (CAP) sales tax is roughly $1,000,000 over budget after four disbursements (about 10% over), and the redevelopment fund is approximately $100,000 (about 2%) over due to stronger hotel/motel and restaurant tax receipts.
Haggerty said the city introduced year-to-date numbers at the previous meeting and would not repeat every detail. She invited questions and noted staff would provide further details on request. The committee did not take any immediate budgetary action during the session; the figures were presented as informational and will factor into upcoming budget decisions and prioritization discussions.
