The Prince George's County Council voted unanimously Oct. 1 to approve its consent agenda and to adopt CR 64, a resolution updating water-and-sewer category designations in the 2018 plan.
Chair Ivey called for the motion to adopt the consent agenda, which Council Member Olson moved with a second from Council Member Watson; the clerk recorded the vote as 10-0 in favor. The council later advanced CR 64 on a motion by Vice Chair Harrison, and the roll call again showed the measure carried 10-0. "Is there a motion to adopt?" Chair Ivey asked before the roll call that recorded the unanimous vote.
The agenda also included procedural authorizations: the council approved an amendment to the local impact grant multiyear spending plan and subsequently authorized the chair to sign a letter to the county executive transmitting the committee report and final plan. Nathaniel Tutt summarized the Committee of the Whole's review of the local impact grant spending plan and the council approved an amendment reallocating funds as discussed during committee. The council recessed after completing the day's business and scheduled follow-ups as noted on the agenda.
