Committee approves position-grade adjustments across county agencies

The committee recommended favorably on CR82-2024, a resolution to adjust approved grades and the number of positions in several county agencies, including the Office of Information Technology, Office of Law, Circuit Court, Police Department, Fire/EMS, Office of Homeland Security, Department of Environment, Department of Permitting, Licensing and Enforcement, Department of Social Services, and the Health Department.
Staff presented the resolution and analysts said the adjustments will have a minimal adverse fiscal impact that agencies will absorb within their FY25 budgets. The County Executive's Office joined to request a favorable recommendation; there were no substantive questions and the committee moved favorable on the resolution.
