Owner says permit delays kept home-build plans stalled; magistrate sets Oct. 10 deadline

"I have every intention of building a home. I have been in this process for 2 years," Armintraut said while describing the permitting delays. Officer Griffin said the county is willing to allow temporary storage containers during bona fide construction but noted construction had not begun. The magistrate set a compliance date of Oct. 10, 2024 and scheduled a status conference for Oct. 15, 2024 so the officer can make a site visit and verify progress before any fines are imposed.
