One participant (Andrew, speaker 6) described a staff suggestion to adjust curb geometry, saying it is "relatively easy for him to cut cut that radius, and fill the inside, with basic crusher fill," which commissioners noted could produce a more durable, less seasonal solution than temporary plastic bollards.
Several members recommended hiring a short-term consultant to advise on how best to pilot and test temporary measures, including how to stripe lanes, create visual lead-ins and properly measure outcomes. Commissioners endorsed testing low-cost ideas that can be refined before committing to expensive, permanent construction.
