At the Sept. 18 meeting, the superintendent presented enrollment and program updates: K–8 enrollment was reported at 652 students, prekindergarten at 51, eight students identified as homeless and 196 multilingual students. Preschool screenings were held Sept. 10; 45 students are enrolled in the Preschool for All program with 14 additional eligible.
The board reviewed fall MAP math and reading scores as part of Strategic Priority 1; the minutes also record extracurricular participation (50 cross-country students, home meet Sept. 10) and partnerships for an upcoming Traveling Art Show with the Roselle Public Library and Medinah Park District. The minutes thanked Ian Neitzke for a band trombone donation.
