Medinah SD 11 approves FY26 budget and three playground paving resolutions

The Medinah Elementary School District 11 Board of Education approved its FY26 budget and three separate resolutions authorizing paving repairs to playground and parking surfaces at district schools during its Sept. 18 regular meeting.
In a roll-call vote on the FY26 budget, Mrs. Johnson moved and Mr. Neitzke seconded the motion; board members Mallory Riter, DeAngelo, Johnson, Neitzke and Ketcham voted aye and the motion carried. The board then approved three resolutions—one each for Medinah Primary School, Medinah Intermediate School (playground and parking lot), and Medinah Middle School—each passed on roll call with the same ayes recorded.
Board action on the budget and the paving resolutions followed the district's facilities update and a report that the Regional Office of Education performed the annual Health, Life, Safety inspection on Sept. 11 with minor findings that have been addressed. The minutes record no dissenting votes among members present.
