On Oct. 23 the Medinah Elementary School District 11 board approved a resolution establishing the estimated amounts to be levied for levy year 2025 and separately adopted a resolution declaring its intent to issue $1,050,000 in Working Cash Fund Bonds to increase the district's working cash fund. Both motions carried on unanimous roll call votes (Mallory, Riter, Golaszewski, Johnson, Neitzke).
The board also approved a resolution calling a public hearing on the proposed sale of $1,050,000 in Working Cash Fund Bonds and $2,500,000 in School Fire Prevention and Safety Bonds; notice of that hearing will be published as required by law. The working cash resolution directs district staff to publish required notice; the safety bonds will be considered at the public hearing called by the board.
