Montmorency County names Camille LaPorte as new Chief Deputy Treasurer

At its April 9 meeting the Montmorency County Board accepted the resignation of Chief Deputy Treasurer Elizabeth Bloxsom (White) and appointed Camille LaPorte as the new Chief Deputy Treasurer. The motion, moved by Chair Mary Hardies and seconded by Vice-Chair Michelle Hamlin, passed unanimously.
The board also ordered updates to bank-signatory lists to include Aprille Williamson (County Controller), Linsey Rogers (County Treasurer) and Camille LaPorte (Chief Deputy Treasurer) on specified county accounts held at Alpena Alcona Area Credit Union, Community Financial Credit Union, Nicolet National Bank and the MiClass accounts. Several account suffixes were read into the record for administrative completeness.
The changes take effect immediately per the board motion and the clerk recorded the action in the meeting minutes.
