Board discusses governance handbook edits and requests sample handbooks ahead of workshop

Board President Hugo Torres asked for sample handbooks to be shared in advance of the Governance Workshop. Superintendent Magee said she had "linked one sample handbook in the Board memo" and that staff would print additional models for the workshop with relevant sections highlighted. Trustees discussed adopting a working draft and updating it through subsequent conversations and the workshop.
No vote was taken; trustees agreed to continue the discussion at the Governance Workshop scheduled for January 29, 2025.
