Police report: traffic enforcement, grant equipment and Super Bowl safety campaign

The report lists a total of 2,203 calls for service across the reporting period.
The department noted grant‑funded equipment: a new LIDAR device and six Taser 10 units were received via grants. Officers will conduct a Super Bowl safety campaign Feb. 6–9 focusing on speeding, seat belts, car seats and distracted driving; the department also plans community outreach events such as its annual "Bowling with Badges."
