Council advances property tax levy ordinance amid insurance cost concerns

Councilmember Chris Carlson moved approval of ordinance 1132 and Councilmember Craig Cyr seconded; the motion passed 3-0. The statements about the levy income and insurance increases were presented during the first reading to inform council deliberations on the 2026 budget.
