Selectboard member Michael Jordan reported that after Washington Electric's line crew worked on tree cutting, "the asphalt on N. Fayston Road near the intersection of Abbey Lane was torn up with track marks." Jordan asked that the town pursue repairs with the utility.
Madison Vasseur said she would contact Washington Electric to ask them to repair the damage. The board also reviewed road-work scheduling: Josh reported gravel work on Kew Vasseur is in progress and stone lining on Smith Road and Sharpshooter is next. Ron Graves asked that a tree on the former Wendy Cohen property on North Fayston Road be added to the road crew's to-do list.
The board did not authorize emergency repair funding at the meeting; staff were directed to request that Washington Electric fix the asphalt damage.
