The Langley City Council unanimously approved the LIP‑15 Wetland Mitigation Monitoring Contract at its Sept. 15 meeting. Councilmember Rhonda Salerno moved to approve the contract and Councilmember Gail Fleming seconded; the motion passed without opposition.
Public Works Director Randi Perry told the council the contract is follow-up work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and therefore was not put out to bid. The item had been moved from the Consent Agenda for discussion and subsequent approval during the staff reports portion of the meeting.
