Candidates call for major immigration changes, differing emphasis on strategy

She also said immigration policy should be tied to economic incentives to build bipartisan support. John Betcha said the country must "abolish ICE in its current form," called for defunding and reform, and supported asylum-system updates and expedited visa processing to keep essential workers in local economies.
