Planner Thayne Tubbs presented a guiding-principles community-input slide with a QR code linking to a public survey and displayed comments on a large screen. Committee members agreed the survey should be simplified to improve response rates. "We didn't get outside response tonight and only two comments prior to this meeting, so I appreciate you answering the questions," said Kristine Warner, urging broader outreach.
Remote participants had trouble joining the audio: Sage Blom and Nancy Mahoney-Martian attempted to comment via Zoom but experienced technical issues; Mahoney-Martian provided written comments in advance. Staff said they would return with additional outreach options and refine the survey questions before the next engagement round.
