Commissioners set tax-deed auction timelines for two parcels

Treasurer Kristine Lund reported the board will record tax deeds and notify property owners as required. For parcel RPD0221019004A (.245 acres of bare ground) the board set a 90-day timetable to proceed with a tax-deed auction. For parcel RP05N38E365776 the board approved scheduling a tax-deed hearing auction 12 months from the meeting date.
"The purpose of this is to set a timeline for auction. The tax deeds will be recorded today, and mailed out with a letter to the property owner letting them know the decision and what the next steps are," Lund said. Commissioners moved and approved the timelines by roll call where recorded.
