Commissioner Clark moved and Commissioner Young seconded approval of claims for May 11 through May 18, 2026, totaling $163,182.93; the motion passed by roll call.
The board also approved a PTO donation of 80 hours from employee 620 to employee 988. Two beverage-catering permits were approved: Smokey Bone BBQ for an event June 14 at 70 N 4600 E and Snakebite Restaurant for an event Aug. 15 at 71 N 550 E. Prosecutor Paul Butikofer raised concerns about travel per-diem approvals and the board adopted a procedural solution: submit per-diem claims at least two weeks in advance to allow processing.
