Commissioners approve $163,183 in claims, PTO donation and catering permits; prosecutor seeks per-diem timing change

Two beverage-catering permits were approved: Smokey Bone BBQ for an event June 14 at 70 N 4600 E and Snakebite Restaurant for an event Aug. 15 at 71 N 550 E. Prosecutor Paul Butikofer raised concerns about travel per-diem approvals and the board adopted a procedural solution: submit per-diem claims at least two weeks in advance to allow processing.
