County Engineer Sam Scott and Mike Carter presented a traffic study recommending that a portion of 3800 East be posted at 45 miles per hour, explaining the recommendation is based on engineering standards and the study's data.
"A traffic study was completed and the results show that the posted speed limit should be increased to 45 miles per hour," Sam Scott said. Commissioners asked that the sheriff be consulted and moved to table Resolution #2026-31 until the May 26 meeting to allow for that input and additional review.
