Jefferson County approves four new probation positions and multiple pay-step moves

The roll call showed Commissioner Clark, Commissioner Young and Chairman Hancock voting aye and the motion passed. Subsequent motions to create a Senior Administrative Office Assistant (grade 5), a Probation Officer 2 (grade 6), and a Senior Probation Officer (grade 8) likewise passed by roll call. The board also approved multiple individual employee grade/step moves recorded by employee number in the minutes.
