The board approved, as part of the consent agenda, the adoption of DIBELS as San Pasqual Valley Unified District’s universal screener for risk of dyslexia for the 2025–26 school year. The action appears as Consent Item 19 and was included in the motion that passed unanimously Aug. 12.
District materials list DIBELS for universal screening to identify students at risk for dyslexia and to guide intervention planning. The consent motion bundled this adoption with other routine consent items; trustees voted to ratify the full package and the adoption will be implemented for the upcoming academic year.
