The San Pasqual Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees approved a bundled consent agenda at its Aug. 12 regular meeting that included ratification of June and July warrants totaling $1,045,644.33 and acceptance of donations from Schools First Federal Credit Union of $2,500 for welcome-back supplies and $1,000 for staff T-shirts.
The consent agenda, moved by Ms. Dominguez and seconded by Ms. Owl, also authorized personnel appointments for the 2025–2026 school year: campus security (Gerardo Molina, first alternate John O’Connell Jr., second alternate Gerardo Navarro), groundskeeper (Gerardo Hernandez, alternate Martin Lopez), and a multiple-subject teacher (Vivian DeLaTeja with Priscilla Guerrero and Clivia Miller as alternates). The board approved the San Pasqual High School 2025–2026 sports schedules and related out-of-state travel requests as part of the package.
The board approved contracts listed on the consent agenda, including a bilingual speech and feeding therapist (Ricardo Rivas, HOPE) and technology support from PixaBytes Solutions Inc. The motion to approve the consent items passed unanimously with four trustees voting yes and one trustee absent.
