MPIC members discussed developing an initial approach for a Strategic Conservation Plan to present at the October public MPIC session. Jenn Madden reported she had raised the topic with the Conservation Commission and John Shaw agreed to attend the commission’s September meeting to request an open discussion that would likely include Planning Board Chair Pat Losik.
The committee discussed coordinating a joint project between the Planning Board and Conservation Commission and identifying consulting needs and budget for 2027 and beyond. MPIC identified the Parsons Creek Advisory Committee meeting on July 8 as a promising path for advancing some conservation-related master-plan items.
