Ellis said staff are shifting some focus to land acquisition in Midtown and aligning wayfinding across CRAs with the Vision 2050 plan. He also addressed the CRA timeline, noting the downtown CRA "will expire at 2038" and that staff are "in the early stages of exploring, extending that to the maximum time allowed" to enable longer-term incentives. Later in the presentation Ellis reiterated schedule mechanics, referencing the city's CRA implementation window and a potential cutoff point staff identified for longer-term planning.
