Students cited an immediate safety outcome: a third‑grader asked his father to secure a shotgun after receiving a gun lock at the event, demonstrating to the FFA presenters how small prevention measures can produce real results. Commissioners thanked the chapter and county fairgrounds staff for supporting the event.
