The Board adopted a resolution of support for Donnelly Crossing, an affordable housing project proposed by Ring Property Company LLC for a 6.5-acre site near Frank Ray Boulevard and Gargess Way. Amanda (staff) introduced developer Bob Ring, who described the project as a single building geared to residents 55 and older with about 40–42 units of roughly 825 square feet (two-bedroom) and a parking field of 55 spaces. Ring said the development would be deed-restricted for 30 years.
Ring provided preliminary rent estimates tied to income limits: about $427 per month for units restricted to 30% of area median income and about $900 for 60% units. He said the housing commission's application deadline was accelerated and that community support (including the city's fee-waiver ordinance) would strengthen the project's competitiveness for state housing funds. The board voiced support and approved the resolution by voice vote.
