5th Avenue safe‑routes sidewalk advances; Well 3 roof permits submitted

Hansen said the contractor submitted permits for the Well 3 roof and that work will start after permits are returned. For the 5th Avenue project, three of four hydrants that interfered with the sidewalk have been moved, several leaking valves were discovered and will be replaced, the foundation for a retaining wall is scheduled to be poured the next morning, and concrete pours for the new sidewalk are tentatively scheduled for early next week.
