The clerk said monthly budget reports are posted after council acceptance; staff noted the June report had not been posted because it had not yet been approved.
The postponement preserves the public-hearing record while giving council time to resolve questions about revenue projections (including CenterPoint Energy receipts and opioid-abatement estimates), outstanding website redesign payments, and staffing cost details before a final vote.
