Planning commission updates: agenda timing, vacancy and next meeting set for Sept. 8

At the end of the hearing planning staff and the chair addressed administrative matters. The chair reminded those present that "please note city council's meetings will begin at 4PM," and staff said it is reviewing how to get agenda packets out earlier to commission members. The growth management director noted a vacancy on the commission and asked members to refer interested residents to the city clerk. The chair confirmed the commission’s next meeting is set for September 8, 2025.
Staff said they may propose changes to the board meeting and submittal schedule to allow more time for review and to coordinate transmittal to City Council.
