During the meeting on Feb. 10, the Weston Selectboard reported that taxes for two properties acquired through FEMA buyouts have been resolved and that one property remains to be closed. The minutes state the board resolved taxes for two buyout parcels, and that one parcel is outstanding pending closure.
Town staff member Kim Seymour said she will discuss with Wayne Granquist whether a Board of Abatement meeting is needed to remove the remaining property from the delinquent tax list. The minutes do not specify property addresses or dollar amounts; additional tax-closing details will be handled administratively and reported when the matter is finalized.
