Price County reorganizes standing committees, elects committee chairs and vice chairs

At the April 28 meeting the board held organizational meetings for multiple standing committees and elected chairs and vice chairs for Administration, Forestry & Parks/Buildings & Grounds, Health & Human Services, Land Use & UW-Extension, and Law Enforcement committees.
Following the regular board session, Price County convened multiple standing committees for organizational business and elected chairs and vice chairs by unanimous voice votes. In Administration, Dennis Wartgow was elected chair and Paula Houdek vice chair. Forestry & Parks / Buildings & Grounds elected Doug Erickson chair and Michelle Drobnik vice chair. Health and Human Services elected Paula Houdek chair and Robert Kopisch vice chair. Land Use & UW-Extension elected Robert Kopisch chair and Doug Erickson vice chair. Law Enforcement elected Larry Palecek chair and Dennis Wartgow vice chair.
Each committee adjourned after elections. The organizational votes were conducted by nomination and unanimous voice ballot; no roll-call tallies were recorded in the minutes for these committee elections. These changes take effect immediately for committee rosters and will guide committee business until the next organizational cycle.
