Council approves cemetery lot purchase; Councilman Hitchcock abstains citing conflict

Mayor McGhehey announced that the City had received a Conflict-of-Interest Statement from Councilman Randy Hitchcock related to the purchase.
The motion carried with four votes in favor (Turman, Yates, Mashburn and McGhehey) and one abstention from Hitchcock. The minutes record the abstention and indicate the certificate was approved.
