Council discusses standardizing contributions to volunteer fire and EMS after catch‑up payment

Members said it would be reasonable to return to prior practice and suggest $5,000 each for the volunteer fire department and other emergency services as a starting recommendation; they asked staff to confirm the interlocal agreements and include the amounts in the draft budget for council consideration at the budget hearing.
