Ocala's City Council approved a package of operational contracts and renewals during its Aug. 19 meeting under the consent agenda. Staff said the items support the city's operational-excellence goals and are budgeted or contract renewals.
IT director Christopher Ramos summarized the replacement lease with Canon Solutions America for citywide multifunction devices and the rationale for replacing end-of-life equipment. Ramos said the new five-year agreement will replace machines citywide and roll service, toner and server licensing into the lease. Ramos also presented a one-year renewal for Tyler Technologies (Munis), noting the software underpins budgeting, payroll and financial systems. Staff recommended approval of other renewals including Wrike and CentralSquare Lucidie asset management.
Council approved the consent agenda on a single roll call; individual items were not pulled for separate discussion. Staff said the items were budgeted and that IT and procurement staff will oversee implementation and vendor coordination.
