Board approves revisions to NRS 327 and updates Strategic Plan Executive Summary
Summary
Following a well-attended public workshop, the Board approved proposed revisions to NRS 327 and voted to adopt a revised 2025 Strategic Plan Executive Summary at the May 14 meeting.
Executive Director Mark Fakler presented proposed revisions to Nevada Revised Statute 327 that resulted from a public workshop held April 15 and reviewed the changes with the Board. After discussion, the Board voted unanimously to approve the revisions (motion 26-41).
The Board also reviewed and approved edits to the 2025 Strategic Plan Executive Summary based on prior direction; a motion to adopt the revised Executive Summary (26-42) passed unanimously. Staff noted the public workshop generated substantive input that was reflected in the statutory revisions presented to the Board.
