Selectboard elects Denis Benson chair; Jim Linville named vice chair, Gehlich secretary

The Town of Weston Selectboard reorganized its leadership at its March 10, 2026 meeting. Jim Linville moved to nominate Denis Benson as Selectboard Chair; the motion, seconded by Katie Fitzpatrick, was approved unanimously. Linville subsequently moved to nominate himself as Selectboard Vice Chair and moved to nominate Brian Gehlich as Secretary; both motions were approved unanimously.
The reorganization took place during the meeting posted for 7:30 p.m. at the Town Office and was recorded for the minutes. The leadership changes were carried by unanimous votes with no roll-call tallies recorded in the transcript.
