Economic Development Manager Cody Hill said the City has negotiated a purchase agreement with ISSB, LLC to acquire two parcels immediately north of the existing Public Works site (8170 and 8172 S Main Street) to expand the Public Works campus. The purchase price is $1,822,986 ($27 per square foot) and funds will come from the Capital Improvements budget.
City staff and the parties negotiated standard closing obligations. City Attorney Garrett Wilcox said the sellers will remove personal property by closing and that fixtures attached to the building will remain. Council approved Resolution No. 2025‑R‑05 to authorize the purchase agreement by roll call vote (one member excused).
