Board approves two-year NYHART contract for actuarial certifications at $3,100

Becky Chapin from Human Resources asked the board to approve a two-year agreement with NYHART to provide actuarial certifications required for the county's self-insured employee health plan.
"We had a contract with NYHART to perform these services that expired after fiscal year 25 reporting requirements. I'm here today to ask for a motion to approve a new 2 year agreement with Nyhart to provide 509A actuarial certifications for fiscal years 26 and '27 in the amount of $3,100 including authorizing the chair to sign the agreements," Chapin said.
Supervisor Dan moved, and Supervisor Mike seconded. The board voted 'aye' and the motion carried.
No dissent was recorded in the meeting minutes regarding the contract; the board authorized the chair and auditor to sign the agreement.
