Members reviewed a string of recent community events and upcoming activities. The agenda recorded a successful Food Truck Festival at Veterans Memorial Park Beach on May 17 and a Chalk Art Festival and Sharon Pride Day at Town Hall on May 31; Vice Chair Shana Seidenberg said the Pride Day walk was well attended and that "there were 25 vendors at Pride Day."
Committee members also noted a flag-raising and walk to Veterans Memorial Park on Pride Day and confirmed that Porch Fest is scheduled for Aug. 30. The EDC discussed ways to support event promotion through the business group and town website.
