"So, at so out of the 50,000 total, we'd only be paying 60% of that," Kleinhofer said. Committee members asked whether the EPL is vendor‑managed (it is), whether upgraded connections would resolve lagging Chromebooks (IT said device hardware and classroom‑management software are likelier causes), and whether cell coverage issues would be helped (IT described Wi‑Fi calling and FirstNet repeaters that aid AT&T users).
The committee approved the recommendation by voice vote and will present the contract to the full board for final authorization.
