Marion Cole, a resident at 901 Old Skag School Road, urged the council to consider maintenance of Old Skag School Road before approving annexation related to Platinum Ranch. "I'm here basically about Platinum Ranch and not really against the the annexation," Cole said, warning the council that "there's holes in the road already" and that the road is not passable in places.
Cole said she has previously hauled rock to patch the road and was sued by the county after doing so, and asked city staff to be prepared to address the section in front of her property once it becomes part of the city. The mayor acknowledged the concern and said staff and council members would follow up; Cole said she would contact Deitra (city staff) to coordinate further.
