The commission reviewed a comparative budget and current budget status report (fiscal year July 1'6/30). Chair Rich Turner explained a postage overrun of about $184 because the RPC budgeted $250 while actual postage exceeded $1,200. Commissioners also asked staff to verify a $146.25 charge coded to the Town Plan Consultant and whether it should instead be charged to the Grant Match line; they discussed the possibility of carrying forward unspent town plan funds.
The commission set a revised total of $23,910.67 for the preliminary 2027 budget and approved it by motion.
